January 2026 | In the 5th webinar of the 4th edition of our series “Staying in Dialogue with China”, an initiative aimed at helping international businesses understand China #insideout, we were honoured to host YAO Yang, Professor and Dean of the Dishuihu Advanced Finance Institute at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and former Dean of Peking University’s National School of Development (NSD).

Prof. YAO Yang is a leading expert on China’s political economy and economic development. He is the founding editor of China Economic Quarterly and chairs multiple prominent economic conferences and committees. Prof. Yao has published widely in top journals and authored or edited more than a dozen books, and his research has been recognized with national and international awards.
