Macro Policy
CMG understands China’s development and reform policymaking on the national-level as ‘macro policymaking’. We believe international business’ strategic decision-making should start by creating an aligned view of China’s ‘macro’ trajectory, before analyzing business, market and sector level factors. In past five years, CMG has invested most efforts in building a consistent tracking of macro policymaking to provide a calibrated narration, analysis and forecast of its policy trajectory. While we attached highest priority to policy, macroeconomic management and interventions are second major macro factor, which we have covered in part.
